By E&P StaffNEW YORK: MuseStorm, which offers a platform for widgets and social applications, has extended its MuseStorm Engagement Platform (MEP) to offer support for the iPhone.
Companies that want to create Web applications for delivery through a Web browser to iPhones can now do so via the MEP.
A spokesperson told E&P that newspapers are among the customers that “can package their content and video in widgets and distribute them to iPhones. It is another channel to reach the mobile audience.”
The MEP can be distributed across a variety of platforms—including Web, desktop, Facebook, Bebo, and now iPhone.
Customers can keep a 24/7 watch over their widgets’ performance via metrics.
Ori Soen, co-founder and CEO of MuseStorm, said customers “want to reach audiences wherever they are on the Web”—including people using iPhones.
